Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Porvi, an AI travel planning app operated by Dmitrii Okunev (NIE Z3306421S), an individual developer based in Spain ("Porvi", "we", "us"). By using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
1. The service
Porvi generates personalized travel itineraries using artificial intelligence, based on the destination, dates, and preferences you provide. Itineraries include suggested places, schedules, travel times, and related information such as photos and opening hours, sourced from third-party services.
2. AI-generated content — important
Itineraries are produced by an AI model and are suggestions, not verified facts. Places may be closed, renamed, relocated, or misdescribed; opening hours, prices, and travel times may be outdated or wrong; schedules may be infeasible. Before relying on an itinerary, verify the details that matter — opening hours, tickets and reservations, transport schedules, visa and entry requirements, local safety conditions. Porvi is not a travel agency and does not provide professional travel, legal, medical, or safety advice. You remain solely responsible for your travel decisions.
3. Accounts
You can use core features without an account; itineraries created without an account are automatically deleted after about 30 days. Creating an account (via email, Google, or Apple through our authentication provider) lets you save trips and preferences. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age required in your country) to use Porvi.
4. Sharing itineraries
You can share an itinerary by generating a share link. Anyone who opens that link while signed in to Porvi can view the itinerary read-only and add it to their trips; it is shown to them together with your name. Sharing gives access to the itinerary as it stands and as you later change it — it is not a snapshot. There is no un-share: to withdraw access, delete the itinerary.
Treat a share link as if it were the itinerary itself. It is unguessable, but anyone who obtains it can use it, and we cannot tell who that is. Do not put anything in an itinerary that you would not want a recipient to pass on. The number of people one itinerary can be shared with is limited, and we may change that limit.
An itinerary shared with you is for your personal travel planning, on the same terms as one you generated yourself (section 8). Do not re-share it in a way the person who shared it with you would not expect.
5. Subscriptions and payments
Some features may require a paid subscription or purchase. Payments are billed and processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — we never receive your payment card details; subscription status is managed for us by RevenueCat. Prices, billing periods, and what each plan includes are shown in the app before you buy.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, by purchasing you request immediate access to digital content and acknowledge that you thereby lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, to the extent permitted by law.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the app for any unlawful purpose;
- probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or circumvent rate limits and other technical protections;
- access the service by automated means (scraping, bots) or use it to build a dataset or a competing service;
- attempt to extract our API keys, impersonate other users, or access data that is not yours;
- reverse engineer the app except where the law expressly permits it.
7. Third-party content and services
Place information, photos, maps, and directions come from third-party providers (including Google, Mapbox, Foursquare, and Wikimedia) and may be subject to their own terms. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, or for the places, businesses, and services an itinerary refers to. Sign-in via Google or Apple is subject to their respective terms.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its design, and its software are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for planning your own travel. Itineraries generated for you may be used freely for your personal, non-commercial purposes. Third-party content within itineraries (such as photos) remains subject to its owners' rights.
9. Availability and changes
Parts of Porvi are free to use; paid features are described in section 5. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above, and where feasible we will notify you in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Termination
You may stop using Porvi at any time and may delete your account, together with all associated data, directly in the app (or by request, as described in the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or harms the service or other users.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that itineraries will be accurate or feasible.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app — including decisions made in reliance on AI-generated itineraries. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 USD, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing limits the mandatory consumer protection rights of the country where you live.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you are a consumer, you additionally benefit from any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence, and disputes may be brought before the courts of your place of residence where that law so provides.
